Navigating through life has never been pretty. I’ve been challenged and questioned, both by myself and others, and failed just as unceremoniously as I’ve tried, but never once did I regret my efforts. I always dream to be a better version of myself, one that has experienced and grown through the rough and tumble world, and I believe that the more I pursue my education, the more I’d flourish into someone who could say they’ve made it. Whatever that destination may be.

For me, the decisions and dreams I’ve set for myself come as easily as singing a catchy song. I dream of graduating under my first-choice program of business management whilst maintaining a hearty affiliation with organizations I align with. I envision myself committed in a role as a student leader, working with and for the masses alongside a team of amazing people. I want to maintain my honors, as difficult as it might be, yet balance time for myself and the family who has guided me through it all; past the obstacles and tears.

My family’s financial challenges have taught me the essence of a limited life, one full of conscious trips to the market and eyes on personal savings, a life that I dream to turn luxurious in my nearing future. With a single father who juggles his attention between work and family to sustain four children, I want something more for myself so that I could ease their building worries of the future. And I believe that I could reach that beyond with your aid.

I believe that with the ANI scholarship program’s backing, I will have the chance to better and further pursue my academics with comfort and confidence. This would help with my family’s daily expenses and improve our budgeting for my day-to-day life as a student of a public science high school, assisting in my class project expenses and my commutes to and from school.
